Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay

The Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay is a 120 mile foot race which begins in Baker, California and ends in Las Vegas, Nevada. The race, which began in 1985, is run by 20 person teams of law enforcement personnel. The 20 legs of the race are of varying lengths and difficulty. The 2022 event will be held on the weekend of April 9th-10th and will be comprised of over 250 teams from all over the United States, Canada and the world. Over 5,000 runners and countless support personnel participate in this yearly event that concludes with an awards banquet attended by thousands of people at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas.

The 120 mile relay foot race is run by a team of 20 runners with up to 10 alternates. The team is also comprised of 20 to 30 support staff who assist the runners during the race.
